Summary

Sharks are truly some of the most terrifying and fascinating creatures on the planet and who can not say that they didn’t have a liking to them when they were kids? Sharks are one of the oldest creatures that exists on Earth, but it has not changed that much, even after millions of years, because in it’s own realm it is the perfect predator.

One of the first creatures I was interested in modelling, but never got around doing before now, was the great white shark, I can’t say for certain if the desire came from childish nostalgia for the Steven Spielber’s movie “Jaws” or a general appreciation for it’s design.

Unlike some of the other models which I have made, this is a creature which we know exactly how it looks like, therefore reference images and videos were easy to find. I also spent a lot of time researching shark anatomy, to find out how their bodies work and how it moves.
